Introducing BlackBerry App World 1.1

BlackBerry App World is a wireless application that lets the user discover new applications, download free and trial applications, and purchase applications using PayPal� accounts. An updated version of App World v1.1 will launch on 7/31.

The following new features will be available as part of BlackBerry App World 1.1:
•Archive applications (free or purchased) to the external MicroSD memory card
•Enjoy quick re-installation of applications
1 Alleviate OTA (Over the Air) data usage / charges when reinstalling
2 Extend device memory (for application downloads)
•Choose to browse free or paid applications when viewing catalog
1 Get faster image / icon loading for a better experience
2 Sort search results by various details (such as price)
Users can browse applications using the following new search options:
o Categories
o Top Downloads
o Search
o My World

Hey if I could store my apps on my external sd card that would be awsome as it will free up some app memory on my device for it to run smoother. cool!

It is a lot faster which is great, but unfortunately, we still need a paypal account which annoys me. I would much prefer being able to pay with just a credit card.

But once they are archived to your memory card you can not access the app.

A direct download would be to visit the download page...then when you get to the spot of your device with the download or cancel button..go to menu, page address..then post that url...users on 5.0 cannot get to that point as it says device is unsupported so a direct link is needed.
