Hey guys,

Ever since the Blackberry App World needed its update, the icon saying so on my home screen has been stuck there (in the banner where it has the time, sms/bbm message indicators, etc). Is there a simple way to get rid of this?

Go into your "messages" folder. It should be in there to delete. I had mine stuck for a while until I realized this. I have my "messages" folder hidden since I have SMS and e-mail separate, though. If you go into the SMS folder and hit 'm' it brings up the messages one.

It's Def. in your msgs folder delete all your msgs and then do a batt. pull that will remove the icon I had the same problem

I had the same issue... I used the battery pull app and boom! it was gone.

what about this issue?
