On my desktop on my BB Curve 8330, it shows I have four face book alerts, but there aren't any and I can't make this thing go away. when I get more, it adds to the number, and after I ch eck t hem, it goes back to four.
Open the facebook app, go to the notification page. Hilight the date at the very top of the list, click and select mark prior opened. If it doesn't clear immediately you may need to pull your battery.
Dumb follow-up question. I have the latest Facebook on my 8330 from Sprint and I only get email update notifications. I use the ESC key (right of the trackball) to get back to the home page from Facebook. Should I switch apps instead to get the notifications?
