Recently, my Rogers 8900 had an error during an update with DM for Mac, which SAYS it backs up applications and stuff but it ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT. Hmmf.

This happened a few weeks ago, and I'm beginning to realise that I lost everything... I no longer have Docs to Go, Sudoku (or any games, not even Brickbreaker!), even that Password Keeper application. The Password Keeper is the really big issue - Since I don't have it, I lost a lot of important passwords that I don't use very often (like my Canada e-pass and others.)

What happened?? How do I get these applications back?? I don't have any other backups since I got rid of WinXP on bootcamp in favor of Win7.

You need to reload the OS. Unfortunately, since you do not have a backup file, your info cannot be recovered. It will be a fresh phone. And you may want to look for some "Desktop Manager for MAC" threads somewhere around here as to why your update was interrupted or could not create a full backup file.
