    Dear All,
While the private beta for Missed Call LED and new version of highly popular Animated Screensavers goes on, we are almost ready with our next project - Simple Tip Calculator.

This app enables you to calculate tip for your bill and splits it per person. Simply, enter your billing amount, tax amount, no. of persons and tip percentage and it will calculate the total amount and per head values of tip and amount each person owes. This app will make life simpler for foodies with a neat and intuitive UI. Attached is the Screenshot for an idea.

We want to test run this app for different device types and OS. In case you are interested in trying a pre-release app please post below your device model and full OS version so that we can get the ball rolling. I think we will start with a small group (maybe the first 15 to reply) for private beta.

    Best Regards,
    Ani.

i could be wrong but looking at your screenshots, your tip app seems to calculate from the post-tax dollar amount. some people (myself included) calculate from the pre-tax amount. maybe make it an option?

I downloaded the program and it doesn't seem to work on my device. The program appears to start up fine but I can't enter any values into the "Amount" input field or change to a different input field. Same issues after rebooting and enabling compatibility mode.

I can change between the Funky and Sober themes, but that seems to be about all I can do.

This is on a Storm 9550 running the stock .607 OS.

    Here is what I noticed.
First off the numbers boxes are way too small i can't see any of the numbers i put in the box my over 40 year old eyes are terrible that would keep me from purchasing this app.
Also when number keypad is reduced you can't enter any values only when the keypad is enlarged.

The problem described above occurs when my Storm 2 is in landscape mode. In portrait mode I can input values into the fields.

I can see the numbers fine on my 9700 but I think bigger numbers would be better. Overall great app. Its clean, fast, and simple. I also like the two themes idea! Nice job.

    installation n everything worked fine.....
like beeba has mentioned before... tip is calculated on post tax amount....
here we calculate with pre tax amount... could that be an option? just a check box or something in option where we can decide post tax or pre tax.. which can by post tax by default..those who want to change can change accordingly...

    Hi geetwos,
Please let me know in detail about reduced keyboard and enlarged keyboard. As the app should show the same keyboard always, when you enter multi-tap or suretype because it requires digits only.

    Thanks,
    Ani

When the big display keypad is up you can imput the numbers into the boxes, with the reduced keypad from the menu options the keypad is much smaller and it doesn't allow you to input any numbers from that screen. Also in landscape mode you can't input any numbers either just the 0. Hope that's better.
