I was having problems with the browser launcher shortcut adding a url without http & www returned the error "The protocol specified is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different URL."

So for browser shortcuts you need to add http www"

What's weird about that is if I open up my browser and type crackberry[dot]com without http & www it opens it up. So this issue might have something to do with the program.

One thing I noticed is the Bluetooth toggle does not work if you have BerryBuzz 2.0 installed due to BerryBuzz adding a entry in the options menu above the Bluetooth entry.

EDIT: Developer showed me how to fix problem by using custom parameters.

I forgot to write that when an AppName is chosen the button "Set Parameter ..." will provide info and example of how to set the parameters for the selected application. (This is true for StockOverview. I will add example for that)

Bluetooth_Toggle has it's full example + info embedded in the program.

Parameters are useful as you can create a shortcut to toggle BT when in a call (menu items are moved comparing to when not in active call).

This is new on Tour (OS?).
For other BBs, ShortcutMe users have just typed in the address without the boring part (http www). I will check and see maybe I can fix it somehow for Tour.

Yeah its a tour issue. All programs that launch the browser (every single "mobile launcher" ie espn launcher, weather.com launcher) doesn't work on te tour

Not sure if it's worth your while to have it auto include http www if they user doesn't specify.

btw this is app is amazing... I love being able to click my left convenience key and press a letter on a keyboard to open apps... I've gotten it memorized almost.

I like the setup of being able to search for an app like using BR for browser and BBW for BBWeather.. etc... and it automatically brings up shortcuts with "b". Have you thought about a Quick "10" list where it uses numbers instead of letters?

Used to have numbers before. Removed them after ShortcutMe was ported to Storm as numbers on Storm.

Ability to launch shortcuts without touching the trackball is not only fast but also convenient.

Testing one of the new features in 3.5 (3.4.4.0 beta)

Please try the followings and report back:

1- Create a shortcut (ConvKey>MenuKey>"Add New Shortcut") with the following settings:

-AppName: StocksOverview
-Parameter: rimm;rim.to;slb (add any stock ticker you are interested in and found in finance.yahoo.com, separate with ; )
-DisplayName: Stock Overview (or whatever you want)
-ShortcutChar: S O (or whatever you want)


2- Create a similar shortcut for right conv. key quadruple click (in ConvKey>MenuKey>"MultiClick Config.")

Let me know how these two shortcuts work and how long it takes for SCM to bring up the stock data.

(Stock indexes doesn't work properly. I will fix it soon)

Takes like .5 second to load up, but everything says 0. No correct info

Everything is running fairly well. The only problem I have is when I run the shortcut BG (Open Browser, Google) the browser gives me an error saying this is not a valid protocol.

1) Stocks overview looks great. No overlap and the stock values show up great.
2) Bo overlap on the weather at all.
3) Telling me I have 3.4.4.1 and the latest is 3.4.2.0 but good instructions for upgrading.
