I'm on a Storm. The app DOES work, it successfully threaded by SMS, but it was not as tightly integrated as I had hoped it would be. I had to task switch to the app in order to see the threaded conversations, I could not just open the SMS and have it pop up automatically. That would be better. Also it would leave the SMS notification on in my SMS box until I also opened the SMS that way. I will do further testing on this issue as I get more SMSs. The program also insisted on being run in portrait view I would have liked a landscape option. Turning off compatibility did not help. So far thou, it DOES work, and it does thread the conversations.

Thanks! I am working on more storm specific code right now to fix things like that, right now its the same code for all devices. Have you tried the save conversation feature? It saves your chat to the device, missing documentation now but it saves it in /home/user/conversations/"chat name"

    Hey guys,

Back again with a new app, some of you tested CropIt out for me an really appreciated all of the feedback and comments. That info helped me out a lot so I am now looking beta testers for my new application.

It is a threaded text messaging app, that has the organization of an Instant messaging client like beejive, you have conversations instead of a huge list of incoming and outgoing text messages. This allows for much quicker finding of a message and a less cluttered and disorganized screen. With the app you also have the ability to save your chat transcripts to a text file so you can save a record of the conversation to email or just have on record.

If you are interested in testing please let me know by pm.

I am looking for 10 testers. 2 curve 8900 for each GSM and CDMA, 2 Bold, 2 tour, and 2 Storm.

    Thanks everyone!

    Kyle

EDIT: Bold, Storm and Tour filled, still need 1 Curve!
If it's an 8900 Curve you're still needing, I'd love to be your tester!

hey everyone, sorry to all of you who missed out on the first round. I wanted to keep this round small just to test the functionality with a small group but if I decide to open it up again once I have made more changes (which is likely), I will keep a list of everyone here and try to include more of you. Thanks for all the interest!

I'm sure you've got all you can handle at this point, but if something opens up I'd love to try your software.
