UberTwitter has a lot more features than TwitterBerry. I'm especially fond of how UT is able to integrate replies and direct messages into the timeline.

I used ubertwitter since it had been released but just got an invite a few weeks ago for socialscope. The two are similar so I can't tell you which is my favorite. Some people use both but I'm not sure why

I started using TwitterBerry, but after discovering UberTwitter there's no question it's much better than TwitterBerry.

I got my invite to SocialScope yesterday... I just checked my e-mail, and I first registered for SocialScope back in January!!! So I got an invite roughly 6 months after giving them my e-mail.

This was recently announced on their Twitter page (@socialscope) - Twitter / SocialScope: Announcement: We will be o ...

...basically, they're opening up their beta, but it's going to take awhile to send out all the invites to those on the waiting list. I believe they send out invites in order of who signed up.
