Since I can't download the real thing I will have to do with a free 3rd party app. Jivetalk sounds good but I don't know if I'll use it enough to pay 20 bucks for it....

Once it loaded to that screen did you press Menu Key - Get key ?

I was puzzled at first when I got it before...then i felt like a dumbass for pressing every other button, but not pressing the menu key

I went to get key then I get a promt that says expired. I installed it twice to make sure it was installed correctly one OTA and one on my desktop. Ill end up buying it if I like it....

Its a great program, I know its always nice to use the trial version before purchasin a program, but I know many people can vouche to say that its good. I loved it when I had it and would buy it if Rogers comes out with an unl. data plan

Local guy on craiglist. It's brand new though. I just stopped being a cheap *** and bought it....

The only thing I can think of to explain why your trial license would be expired is if someone had already used the 30 day trial on the device.
