Turn on the flash for your video camera. That's the best flashlight

Big 2nd. Takes less time than loading an app, too. Go into camera mode, blackberry button - video mode, then press the spacebar. Let there be light!

I set up the video camera to always have the light on.

Beta testing ShortcutMe right now which has a shortcut to do it automagically

I like BerryTorch. It's free, sets the screen to all-white and a bright led.

A Fenix E01 Keychain LED Flashlight. It's smaller, and quicker, and cheaper than most Flashlight apps.

Definitely the video camera, it is free and that thing is so much brighter than the LCD will ever be.

I set the video camera as my right convenience key and use it when I can't see the keyhole or some dark areas like the bottom of a vehicle for missing stuff. It's much more easy and brighter than the apps out there. I hit the right convenience key and have a flash light at the ready for me and it doesn't use memory either. I've tried berry torch and others like it and they don't lighten up better than the built in flash does.

I think the video camera is plenty good enough.
Why add another app (berrytorch) if you don't have to?

Yeah its brighter but you have to click a whole bunch and what if you need one asap? DL berrytorch or Extralight and set it to a convenience key.

I co sign for the 20th time on the Video Camera. I use the space bar that takes a little more time but sometimes (not often) I actually use the Video camera for a video camera.

I have used ExtraLight ExtraLight for BlackBerry for ages. I think that I originally used it on my 8100. It's free and works well.

Just one more app to try...

I found and app, from pinstack i think, called Flash On. It essentially starts up the video camera, turns on the light, and covers it with a white screen. It works fairly well and starts with one click. Sometimes it doesn't shut the video camera down but at that point its not hidden anymore so you know to shut it down manually. Works great for free.
