honestly?
I did not found any App which helps. There are some apps with promising description of what they do, like set network off for 10 min. if the network is bad (what that means is selectable) etc.
but...
But the 5 free and 1 paid Battery Saver App I tested were using more power/battery life to do all that checking and setting as they saved.
battery saver works best for me it has 5 star rating from over 1000 people u should check it out

You are your own best "battery saver".
Following even most of the battery saving tips from the Crackberry 101 section should keep you on track.
Since I installed the first 7.1 on my 9900, I've tested a handfull of "battery savers". The battery monitoring function in 7.1 showed each of them chewing up my battery. So, I'm using the built-in battery saving mode now, experimenting to find my ideal settings.
N.B. The only app I would call a battery saver is Smart WiFi. By activating my WiFi only when I'm in one of several locations, my device doesn't waste power scanning for WiFi.
Hope all this helps. ~ecm
Since updating to .342 the battery life has been great, usually 1.5 to 2 days of heavy use. I use the built in battery saving mode and it helps. But really for a battery of this size to get the battery life it gets it doesn't seem beneficial to me to use a third party battery app.
I really like MyBattery. It's not a battery saver, but rather a monitor. It shows drain rate, temperature, voltage and hours left. The latter is extrapolated from usage patterns, but once you know how to read it, the information it gives you is very useful.
Once you know the normal values, any abnormal battery drain becomes easily apparent.
I like battery booster pro. Can set alarms for several battery percentage and has a function that warn you if you leave an app in background memory. Also its free so that's a plus.
Another vote for Empower's "Battery Saver" from me. The radio and wifi disconnection options work well for me.
for me it has to be poynt. very handy and works great in my area. Also I like Fuel economy as it to works well but only if you remember to always enter your data properly. it keeps track of maintenance records and such. I could live without that one but poynt actually find useful
Did you have a problem with the icon stuck at the home screen when there's an app alert for batter booster?
