na it's a good question, and for someone that just got their new berry, and is overflowing with excitement.

Applications are built to suit a variety of needs. Some people are very business minded, so they'll want News and Stock applications.

Some people are very social minded so Uber Twitter and face book are important

and some are sports minded so Score Mobile and ESPN's launcher are good.

it just depends on what you want. for us to say " what is the GREATEST applications" is really hard to do.

    on my device
-beejive : multiple client IM service
    -Uber Twitter : Twitter interface
-Score Mobile : Sport score tracker
-Bolt 2.0 Browser : full HTML browser
-Tumblr : Blog board control panel
    -Poynt : Local 411 engine
    -Amazon
    -weather bug
    -NetFlix que manager
    -Google Voice
    -Shazam : song ID program
-zona snap : screen capture program.

ShortcutME <-- Launches apps/options very quickly (kills quicklaunch if you know how to use it).

Garmin <-- $100, but if you travel, it's nice to have.

RingScheduler <-- set profiles to change automatically, nice for meetings.

Show Me The Images <-- Auto downloads images for emails (awesome and def makes emails better).

FlyCast 2.0 <-- Internet radio similar to winamp radio.

    Viigo <-- RSS Reader.

    sorry ..................

Don't worry about what others say about this thread. We're here to help each other out. Some just seem to forget that.

QuickLaunch---makes it easy to navigate on your phone
MeterBerry--great app to use to monitor the battery and memory for your phone
    BerryWeather---great weather app
    Slacker--best music app out there
Google Maps---better than BlackBerry Maps that comes with the phone
Ubertwitter--Great way to navigate in Twitter

with slacker, can you listen to your own Pre-set internet radio stations like di.fm or other online radio stations? I noticed on their website it said streaming only available in the states, so since im up in canada i wont have access?

If you guys have a problem with the OPs question-then why even bother to respond, just move on. HB- BerryWeather is a must. Poynt, Viigo, Beyond 411, google maps, CaptureIt, and Opera Mini are all nice apps. Enjoy your new Berry.

ShortcutMe will do pretty much what both of what these apps do, and much more at the cost of not even 1 of them .

Maybe you have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the user agreement. I don't have that app so I'm not 100% sure.
