Settings > Homescreen Wallpaper > check 'Enable BerryWeather Homescreen Wallpaper'...
then personalise the other options below that to suit.

You will need the newer v2.0.65 for 5.0 OS for the above to work

you might want to uncheck some of the other options as there intrusive like giving it a transparent background and only showing the high/low

I'm using berryweather demo right now. Any other weather apps u suggest to check out before I pull the trigger on this one. my only requirement is for it to have a desktop icon that can display a feels like temperature.

I don't understand. I have 2.0.65 on a Bold 9700. I wanted to have the little cloud/feels like on my homescreen, so as far as I know, I need to have the "Homescreen Wallpaper" option checked. But when I do that, the screen goes blank and it seems like I can only have a wallpaper image of my own if I got actively pick it and put it under "Background Image" - but that wouldn't work if you have a special wallpaper that's a part of a theme. Isn't there a way to have the "Homescreen Wallpaper" activated but be transparent? I feel like I've seen the icon in LOTS of themes. There must be something I'm missing.

    Please help??

If you 'clear' the background images and set backdrop to 'off', then that will give the effect that you asked for... ie. your BerryWeather details showing over the default theme wallpaper.

    That's how it's set.

Should I uninstall and reinstall? Would like to see this working before the end of my trial period. Thanks!

I can have my own wallpaper if I manually go select the image each time - that just wouldn't work if it's a theme and not a wallpaper....

Well, what happens if you want to use Berry Weather with a particular theme where you can't set the wallpaper because the wallpaper image is a part of the theme?

    Thanks!

    Sorry guys, I failed again

I never use default theme wallpapers, only my own custom ones.
Just assumed this would work, and as you all pointed out... it doesn't
