    I have Berry Weather installed, and at the home screen it's set to open when "w" is pressed. But there are times where it does not work and pressing "w" will open the AT&T weather website. Some times after a reboot is performed it will work normally again (but not always) and at times a reboot is not done and it will revert back to opening Berry Weather when pressing "w".
    All permissions that need to be set are; have the most current version of Berry Weather installed. Anybody ever come across this or something similar and know of a way to fix it permenently?

    see if this works:

    options > phone options > general options > Dial from Home Screen > no

    In some cases it is theme dependent. Some themes use other shortcut keys to open weather.
