Does anyone know how to set an alert on beejive?

To set an alert to go off when a buddy logs in, (if that's what you mean) go to the username, select Menu, select either Set One Time Pounce, or Set Permanent Pounce.

To change the tones that BeeJive uses, you use the default BB profile menu.
