I bought bebuzz a while back for my 9930 Bold which ran os7.0. at the time i had to get 6.0 version. but now i got an upgrade and its the 6.0 version as well, although there is a 7.0 available... how can i get the 7.0 since i have an existing license? or would i be ok to keep the 6.0?

Just keep whatever version you have now and enjoy it if it works with no issues, unless you don't mind to pay again full price for upgrade. This just happened to me after i upgraded to version 5.... of BeBuzz so previous activation code didn't worked and got popup message saying that need to purchase this app again in case to make it work. After messing around to try to get just a discounted price which i didn't mind to pay a few bucks but not f$#@ full price again, so i vent back to older version. This is total disrespect

update: just opened my mailbox and got email from bellshare with new activation code for latest version of BeBuzz....even though i didn't asked them for support. Thx Bellshare !!!

If you have a valid license key for v5 you can go to the site and download the 7.0 or 7.1 build made for your device. Previous versions max out for OS6, so if you do not have a v5 license key, you will have to continue to use the OS6 build for v3 and v4.

I've uninstalled BeBuzz at last... I paid for the application, even for the upgrade but last upgrade which is free to me was terrible.
Now i'm using "advance OS and Led" which is free and amazing just amazing.

Same issue with me. I paid for v4 and a few weeks later, v5 came out. I now have a new BlackBerry phone and want to install this, but I'm not willing to pay for v5 again and can't find the download for v4 for 7.1. Anyone know where I can download v4.0.89?

If you purchased v4 only a few weeks before v5 came out you might be eligible for a free upgrade. PM me your license key and I will check.

After upgrading to OS 7.1, I am back in the same situation. My phone tells me that I have version 4.0.89 installed. It also tells me through appworld AND through a message that I get every time my upgrade fails that free 5.0.91 is available.

At this point I am about to give up. I am very frustrated as I communicated in my Customer Support Ticket communications. Please help.

We have many reports of customers you have upgraded to BeBuzz 5 on AppWorld but still get BeBuzz 4.0.81 when they try to install from AppWorld. The same seems to be the case here. RIM has not yet been able to find the cause for this or fix the issue.

On your advice I went directly to the bellshare web site and downloaded and installed the latest available version (5.0.65). I am a happy camper.

Now it does not show in my appworld as an installed app.

That's an App World thing. If an app wasn't loaded through app world - even if a previous version was, it gets marked as unloaded. This happens even if you loaded an app through App World, but later updated the app outside of App World - like, say, through the app's own update capability if it has one.

I've got plenty of apps that show up as unloaded in App World, but are in fact loaded and working. A lot of them were updated outside of App World after the initial App World install - including several BellShare apps.
