I just got my BB Pearl 8130 and i am looking for a good weather program. I would like to find something that has animated radar images, and would alert me of watches and warnings for my area. Any good suggestions?

    thanks

BBWeather is good. You can also go to any mobile version of popular weather sites like weather.com, accuweather, and wunderground.

I just downloaded the Weather Eye from The Weather Network and I have to say much better then the Blackberry Push Weather.

I found that the Blackberry Push Weather was out of date by 12 hours. It would display a moon on my screen when it was the middle of the day.

Weather Eye is where it is!

I tried Weather Eye, and it was OK, but here were the things I missed from BBWeather and complaints I have in general:

Using the L theme, the temp only displays with the icon on the icon screen.

The Icon doesn't seem to update itself unless I open and view the app. If I'm running it in the background, I get nothing.

BBWeather lets me keep multiple locations handy for weather.

Short term forecast doesn't work for me.

Too bad BBweather can't get the icon to do like Weather Eye is supposed to.

Excuse my ignorance here. I have a new Pearl 8130, and can't find BBWeather on it for the life of me. Do you guys download this from somewhere?

I'll be heading overseas in August and at this stage will be going to 3 different countries (US one of them), does Weather Eye show the temperature in Celsius as well? If not is there a Fahrenheit to Celsius converter program?

Just looked - Weather Eye can do Celsius, which I expected since it is/was initially from Canada. Our neighbors to the north use METRICS.

I use BBWeather, it is simple but gets the job done. I agree that Weather Eye is an awesome app but it does not recognize my city or anything that close to it so I had to delete it.

with weathereye, you can go into options and scroll down to home screen icon and set an update time, the most frequent you can update is every 30 min.

I can't get BBweather to work on my curve 8320. It says "Error no lacation profile". Then it just freezes. I have to turn off my BB to stop the program. Any suggestions?
