Pardon me if this is a stupid comment but we use Postal (zip) codes here in the USA. Is that your postal code?

bbweather uses id location codes - in the US you can just use your zip, but in the UK we are meant to use these location codes...it supposedly works and picks up uk weather...but not for me?

Sav25, I'm in the UK & have had no problems. Try the following code and see if it's recognised: ukxx1550.
It's my home location. The example you gave doesn't work for me either.

I downloaded this app today and tried UK codes like you and my postcode, neither worked. Then I typed in London and it found it fine!

OK, I'm back at my PC so here's what I do to get a code for the UK:

First, go to UK and World Weather Forecast: radar, severe warnings, and more - weather.co.uk and enter a postcode or town / city in the search box, eg Oxford

When you hit search, the new page address (for Oxford) is:
    Today's Weather in Oxford - weather.co.uk

you then have the code to enter into BBweather: UKXX0106

    Good luck!

Hi, I had all this when I installed BBWeather. I thought you needed all the codes etc. You don't, it's very simple in the UK.

Open BBWeather> Blackberry Key> Add> (Type where you live or want the weather in the Location ID field)> BB key> Lookup Location ID> Job done!

Also don't forget to change the Units field from Imperial to Metric if you want the weather in 'c' rather than 'f'.

If you need more assistance PM me

MrMark, you're a star! That's much better than what I've been doing. Well, that's my first lesson learnt today. Thanks for that!
