Which is better?? Shd i wait till 4.5 comes out - i dont really care about waiting if its gonna b better on 4.5. Also if i dload it now and then upgrade to 4.5 can i still use which ever one I end up picking with the new OS?

i got 4.5 os on 8310 with bis and there is no html support. Also transferred my bb smart viewer onto it n it does work.....

the 4.5 will not provide HTML emails.

thats up to the server part. OS 4.5 will provide support for it, but to use HTML formatted emails you still need this feautre to be enabled on your BES (it won't be default because they say you might encounter stability problems)

edit: oh and I got EMPower and I love it, I always noticed a little delay when opening emails with BBsmart

I've got BBS and besides the font and the pretty background, I don't see any difference. I still don't get images, only links. Any ideas on what to do?

I have Empower and I really like it. You might use a trial of both Empower versions first to see if the less expensive one meets your needs. Otherwise I'd give both Empower Pro and BBS a trial run and see which one you like. (I'll assume BBS has a trial period. Never used it so I don't know for sure.)

Empower pro is outstanding! I wouldn't look at a plain old email any longer than I had to. Thirty bucks well spent in my opinion.
