i have used it and it works great. Do only thing that i have a complaint about is that the scanners that are close to me do not come in as clear as the ones further away, ie i live in tx near dallas and it is bad reception and california comes in nice and clear.
I think that's because of the radios being used, frequencies, etc. Since it's being pulled from a computer server somewhere, it's going to be the same clarity/quality whether you're next to the radio sending the transmission, or 2 countries over. The phone doesn't actually pick up the signal in real-time; rather, it pulls it after it's reached a server and been processed. Make sense?
This is the best app ever! I used to be in the emergency services field so hearing a scanner is soothing to me. I tested it next to my scanner and found that there is about a 10 second delay. Not bad at all. Thank god for this app. 10-8
