With more and more apps making their way to the app world I was just wondering if developers are at all following BlackBerry icon guidelines? Does BlackBerry even care? I'm a fan of consistency when it comes to icon design and interested to see if others are too?

Getting programmers to comply with any guidelines for any area of UI has always been one level harder than herding cats. However, a clean presentation which follows guidelines tends to be a marker for a quality product, and vice-versa.
