    Hi all,
    I am completely new to BB, just got the torch 9810. I was prompted to download the new App world, so accepted and downloaded, and created a BB ID. Now it wont let me log in, everytime I try it just says unable to log in to BB ID account.
    I have checked and can log in fine on the website, so no problem with log in.
    Any ideas?
    Someone said to uninstall app world, but no idea how to do it, can anyone help please?!

    Yes... this happened to me before. I believe it has something to do with your payment method. There was a thread created before on this issue with a solution for me on my BlackBerry PlayBook.

    Act as if you want to purchase a paid app from App World. Hit the "Purchase" button and you should be prompted to enter you login info. However, once entered hit "OK" so that the confirmation pops up. Hit "Cancel" unless you really want to purchase that app.

    I suggest finding a app you really wouldn't mind buying or a $.99 app.

    This did work for me on my PlayBook... no guarantees.

    Thanks, but the problem is it wont let me get that far.... as soon as I get to any app, free or not, it prompts me for my log in and thats where I'm having the problem. It just says unable to log me in, offers no further information.
    I have reinstalled the newest version of app world to see if that would help, but no change.
    I really want to download some apps so please someone help me!

    OK I see. Have you already responded to the email verification sent upon opening your BlackBerry ID account? There should have been a link telling you to "click here to verify account."

    The only other option is a battery pull maybe. The battery pull still solves many of my device issues.

    I have no email that says anything about verifying, I received an email to say congratulations on creating the new bb id account, with a link to finding out more about the bb id, nothing on there about verifying either. I have tried a battery pull and no joy! It is really frustrating!
    I also tried setting up a new bb id, but when i try to log in to the new one on my phone it says please log in using the id associated with this device.
