I just want to know if I can access BB App World through wi-fi connection only? My phone doesn't have sim card on it and I'm not subscribe to BIS. Will it work?

You need BIS to use BlackBerry App World.

Thanks for the input byul. Now I'm getting enough knowledge on BB Devices.

But why I can't stream youtube videos using BIS? Am I doing something wrong? When I click the video it says " depending on your plan you might incur additional charges. Do you wish to continue?". After clicking yes, the video is on buffering state then a dialogue box will appear, it says " cannot find the web address. Verify that this web address is valid." What can be the problem?

With youtube, it doesn't work. Let me try some other website.

Edit 1: Do you know any streaming sites that does not require flash? I can't seem to access other streaming sites.

For BB App world you could either use WI-FI or BIS. For streaming media use wi-fi only unless you wanna pay some bucks for the service to be provided by your carrier.

You could visit vuclip.com for youtube videos, it works on wi-fi and bis.

No. You did not read the thread.

The OP posted "My phone doesn't have sim card on it and I'm not subscribe to BIS. Will it work? "

You need an active BlackBerry Data Plan to use BlackBerry App World. Once you have that, it will work over WiFi. Otherwise, it will not.
