The old version of QuickPull works.

Point your blackberry browser here and download it OTA.

Make sure you set Allow to all the permissions.

Simulates a "hard reset" by removing the battery...

I just want to be sure of my terminology before I do this. Is a hard reset one that will wipe the device clean? With a Palm product, a soft reset would restart the device but a hard reset would wipe it clean. I don't want to do that but to restart it without pulling the battery would be a good thing.

Using an app like QuickPull will only simulate a battery pull. Imagine removing the battery with the device on...that's all it does. It won't wipe it clean.

It should work if you read the fine print....(BlackBerry device running OS 5.0.0.252+. No lower version will work)

What's thiso about people saying the 9700 does not need QuickPull?

And does alt + right shift + delete do exactly the same thing?

Yes it does the EXACT same thing, no extra software needed.

QuickLaunch has this feature, as well as many others. It's a great app.
