    Hey everyone

just found this great article over at Lifehacker talking about the DoubleTwist media manager. It looks pretty slick and supports all blackberries. Kinda like Roxio, but a lot lighter on the resources. Has an iTunes kinda UI.

I synced my Storm to it and it worked like a charm. Very good on the eyes and converted the video in a very timely manner

THIS WORKS ON BOTH MAC AND WINDOWS

    here is what LifeHacker Wrote:

A really cool universal media manager. From first impressions, doubleTwist for Windows works exactly the same as its OS X counterpart. It can transcode virtually any piece of media so that it gels with whatever device you want to use it with, and you don't have to know anything about file formats or transcoding media to accomplish it. Instead, you just drag and drop files to where you want to see them and let doubleTwist worry about what format they need to be in.

Here is the link to get the program:

It gives you the "grid view" style when viewing your iTunes. It shows all iTunes media.

I am having a problem connecting to my 8900. I don't see the devices tab. I unplugged it and plugged it back in - nothing.

that's interesting. I'm sure at some point they are going to offer a paid version that does all the social networking and leave syncing just to the free app. It's a great app that Blackberry should have provided a long time ago.

Does it put music into structured folders like media manager does?

Pictures. Do they shrink them down for the phone to save space?

Ok installed it and the app does shrink your pics, haven't tried the music yet.

I really like the youtube import, just put the url and it will convert it.

Everything is drag and drop, pretty cool but I'd rather sync so I'm trying out Missing Sync right now.
