I would love an app for the bold 9000 that will allow you to set speed dials to apps
Kind of like quicklaunch but I want it from the home screen just like if you hold 1 it calls voicemail I want it where you can hold say "M" and myspace app starts
I mean I would be willing to pay for it or even make it myself if I knew where to begin lol

IF you turn off dial from home screen, you will have a lot of shortcuts available. I don't think any of the third party apps are in there but the RIM ones are.

You could build a custom theme with the short cuts you wanted.

Quicklaunch allows you to set a letter to all of your apps and options but you have to hit the side button first (or Q with the new version) and then hit a shortcut letter.
E-Mobile Today Professional (which is a complete today-screen theme and more) allows you to set a shortcut with a letter of your choice to many of your apps and options.
