Since there are lots of people that use face book here i figured i should forward this on to everyone. This messege came from one of my friends.

It's true and I found it by accident the other day when I was checking my security settings. Facebook has been pulling pics for advertisements all along. Did you ever notice the ad for the IQ test that has your friends pics on them and a IQ score? That IQ test is not a Facebook application and when you get to the end of it, before it gives you your results, it asks for a cell phone number. Those friends may or may not have taken the test. My husband's pic was up there with an IQ score and he never had taken the test.
Just go into your security settings and fix that little bugger!

Snopes says it's false. Either way I've had it set to No One for a while now.

Ya this is sorta old news, honestly. I haven't read through the entire fine print so to speak but there was a thing about this somewhere else on the internet about a year ago. I honestly really feel like this comes up every year. Myspace as well...

Guys, this about 2 years old, at least. It was called "social ads," and I opted out the day I signed up way back when. They've just changed the name, but if you were smart enough to go thru the privacy settings when you signed up, you are still opted out.
