I just downloaded OS 4.5 for the 8830. When I try and open App World, this message pops up: "Error starting net_rim_bb appworld symbol. Forcedresetmanage r.scheduledeviceres etnotimeout" not found." Have already tried soft and hard reboot, no success.

Try removing and reinstalling app world. If that does not work, backup the device, wipe it, and restore.
