I got the Blackberry Curve 8520 smartphone. But I can't seem to find 'apps.world' on it and when I try to download it IE says

    "axError.gif

Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry App World."

    Any help?

If you have BIS (data plan) use the device browser ang go to m.blackberry.com/appworld.

If not, check here on the 8500 forums because I did post a DM version (alx/cod).

Blackberry Internet Service. Although it's not called that everywhere. In my country, for example it's called BO - Blackberry Option. Funny how an "optional" thing decides if you can connect to the internet or not.

You can connect to the Internet in several ways on a mobile device:

First is using its data connection, be it GPRS, EDGE, 3G, 3G+, whatever. That means using the Network of your carrier.

Second is using Wi-Fi, connecting to a hotspot. That's all I can think of right now, perhaps there are others.

Not knowing does not mean you're dumb.
Not knowing and keeping quiet means one's dumb.

Therefore, I don't think you're dumb. Probably just green when it comes to smartphones.
