Just like the title says, maybe we can help people with choices for certain apps. List the apps you love so much that you will never get rid of them, and why. List the apps that you tried and hated, and why. Also, if you have any settings that you cant live without (certain themes, homepages etc)

    Loved:
Beyond 411 - have been using since the Pearl days, even better now with GPS
    iheartradio - awesome
Poynt - great for movie theaters
Google maps - probably the one app everyone must have
Speedtest - I like testing 3g, edge, and wifi. So far my best 3g has been 420kb
Market Filters - easy small stock market app
BB Messenger - if everyone had BBM, the world would be a better place
Capture it - simple, should be part of the BB OS (like the iphone)
Memopad - I use this all the time for scratch paper

    Hated:
Goodfoodnearyou - good concept, but slow and a memory hog (menus for local restaurants)
Opera - while it has its uses, the .266 BB browser has been great, why have multiple browsers
Weatherbug - just felt funny to me
Quickpull - I guess its good to reset automatically, but I check my mem often so I dont need
Bloomberg - was actually a very good financial reader, it just kept erasing my saved stocks
Forbes - pretty good, but was slow

    Other:
.266 - What a bad impression .167 gave me, .266 has been night and day.
Homepage set to Google reader - No need for Viigo or other RSS app, gives me hours of stuff to read with one click
8 icon today theme - How the Bold should have been IMO, only fault is no animated icons, memory usage is good
8 gig SD card - Great, but now I need to get a 16 or 32.

I use this app and it's not really slow. I don't particularly consider ~570k a memory hog either... There are a ton of apps this size or larger.

    My must haves:

Epocrates - huge memory hog but alternatives not nearly has user friendly.
AP Mobile News - my daily source of news.
Pandora - I like it better than Slacker.
Google Maps - Can't do without.
Poynt - Keep it only for movies and theaters.
Telmap Navigator - for those complex directions where voice guidance becomes useful. May possibly avoid an accident by keeping my eyes on the road.
I also have a few Skyscape applications, the Bank of America launcher, an app called "QxMD Cardiology", and the usual few games, BB App World, QuickPull, and QuickLaunch.

    I found useless:

WeatherBug - It's always sunny and hot in Scottsdale.
    Other non-native web browsers.

I will never get rid of Beejive. Best app ever (about 2 years now)

I might delete quick pull. I find alt-shift delete much easier/quicker to navigate.

lol soo many complaints about Viigo. I never had an issue, I think the user settings need to be just right in order for it not to chew memory & battery.
