    Blackberry App World has for some reason decided that I'm in Europe since its switched my currency to the Euro at the last upgrade.

    I've tried removing the application, doing a battery pull, and re-installing it with no luck. My Storm isn't even unlocked, and I've never been overseas with it, so I'm a little bit confused as to why its confused.

    Any thoughts?

    Even though I should have searched first. I'll put the solution here for completeness sake.

    1. Start to buy something in AppWorld.
    2. Log in to PayPal. Before the transaction is completed it will ask you to confirm the purchase, so don't worry, you're not actually going to spend any money.
    3. It should come up and say that your currency type is being changed.
    4. Cancel the purchase when prompted.
    5. Browse app world without seeing Euros.

    This solution worked for me too, thanks for being on top of it, and having patience with people like me and the original poster for who dont search 1st... lol Anyway, this solution worked perfectly for me!!!

    There is something more simple.
    On your BB go to:
    XE - The World's Favorite Currency and Foreign Exchange Site

    Nice currency conversion, free, simple to use.
    And there are a lot currency overthere.

    how is this easier?? You think pulling up an external site on the BB to check prices for apps is easier than just do this fix above once?
