- I purchased the new 98xx with OS 7, I noticed that certain applications that were available for OS6 were no longer available for OS7 figuring it might have been in development. I kept on checking App World for the application, but nothing. Recently I went to Pandoras website and noticed that the App was available for the phone. I also checked Amazon (another site I used a lot) and they also had their apps were available for the phone. Why are these applications NOT part of the App World inventory? It would be great to have a central location to find new apps for my phone, but it appears that App World is not been updated to reflect newly develop apps. Thoughts?10-19-11 12:26 PMLike 0
- Some apps are not officially available for os7, but may still work with them. I was able to download pandora from their website on my phone. For other apps, I was able to upload them to my phone via blackberry desktop manager. OS6 apps may work with os7, but that does not mean they are without troubles. Some users on this form have noted a decrease in battery life from using non os7 supported apps. One of the most obvious non os7 issues is if you run pattern lock, which runs but only takes up 2/3 of the screen while running in compatability mode.10-19-11 12:50 PMLike 0
- It seems like App World has added some new apps that were not previously there a few days ago. I went in to App World yesterday to see what Blackberry was offering for the free apps and noticed that two apps that I previously had installed on my Tour were now available on the Torch. They wern't available two days ago, so they must be adding new apps daily.10-20-11 06:25 AMLike 0
