Having trouble installing App World 3.1.0.60.

I have a Curve 8530, v.5.0.0.386, platform 4.2.0.160.

Keeps getting the following error message; Uncaught exception:java.lang.noclassdeffound

No icon shows up, although if I go through Options, Applications, Add-On, it can be found there. I keep deleting, doing battery pulls, etc.....NO LUCK.

Anybody have any ideas how to work around this and install an older version of App World that may work.

Did a search, found this...

You need to make sure that the new version is deleted from your phone by going to Options, Applications, Add ons and delete App world. Reboot. Then navigate to the site I mentioned on your phone browser and click on the link there. It will take you to the install page. I installed the first one for OS 5.
