    At the top of my blackberry screen there is a notification for 1 update from the blackberry app world, when I look in the app world there is no 'new' updates, how do I get rid of the false notification?

    You could just delete the notification from your messages folder, or reinstall whatever it is app world is telling you to update. (If it is telling you of course!)

    The notifications will normally come up in your messages folder, not the email folder or your text message folder, the other general message folder. Should be on your home screen?
