I'm just now getting familiar with the BB App World and am wondering what's up with that yellow number in the top-right corner. What happens when it's down to zero, do they start charging for every download in addition to the app price? And what about free apps?

    Thanks.

That's your file free memory on your bb. You don't want it to get anywhere near zero. If you do, you will be out of device memory, get hourglasses, deleted emails, etc.

I just saw your other question that you added when you edited your post.

No, that is your free device memory (file free memory) and has nothing to do with bb app world. They have some free apps and some paid apps. This doesn't change with your device memory.

Ah! Well that makes sense, in a way. I was a little confused about the wording. They could have made it just a little more clear, maybe by calling it "x MB Free Memory".

Thanks a lot for the explanation!
