    So I find that I rarely, if ever, use the shift keys. Mainly because if you hold a letter for a second, it will automatically capitalize it... that right there has pretty much made the shift key obsolete for me.

    However, I use the Alt key all the time, since I have to dial numbers and as far as I know the only way to enter numbers is to hold the Alt key. Unfortunately though, the Alt key is in such an awkward place compared to the number keys... I'd much rather have another Alt key be where the right shift key is so I can more easily enter the numbers.

    Does anyone know if there's any way to make that right shift key into an Alt key, or make it so numbers are easier to enter?

    Would be convenient, but I'm not sure if the hardkeys functions can be changed I don't think rim released that option to developers.

    Well at least for the 4 main keys, not sure about the keyboard itself
