App for Tour to Auto switch periodically between CDMA and GSM??

Anyone know of an app for the Tour that would scan CDMA and GSM periodically? I hate manually switching throught the day to check for texts to my GSM number. Would be nice to have an app that had selectable timers for auto switching between CDMA and GSM since we cant get a true dual mode phone in the US. I despise carrying 3 devices and having this kind of app would limit me to 2 devices instead of 3.
