I use the application switcher all the time (press & hold the menu button). When I get a new message (either email or text), the icon on the "desktop" shows a red circle with a star but the application switcher doesn't. I seem to recall it did on the 8900. Does anyone else find this annoying?
Also - I have my email and text messages separate. If I use the app switcher to go to the messages icon, it remembers whether I last opened an email or a text, which means if the opposite was where I was trying to get to, I have to go back to the menu to get to the right place. Is there any way to configure the app switcher to always go to one place? Alternatively, is there a way to configure the app switcher to have BOTH the mail icon and the text messages icon?
