I've had my 9900 for a few months now, and I love almost everything about it, except for the fact that I'm forced to do a hard reset once per day because my storage memory keeps depleting. I've tried everything, even running no third party apps, and nothing helps Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I thought it may be social feeds or fb or something storing updates/pics on the phone's app storage memory, but sometimes, it happens without using the phone at all. Before bed I might have X storage memory, and when I wake up, it's X-50mb I've tried turning off google sync to no avail. I have no other programs that update regularly, except fb, and twitter, and their updates dont seem to affect storage memory at all. My OS version is .261, has anyone had this issue and resolved it by updating to a newer build?
what OS are you running? i had this problem on the .474 leak though.
i am now using .503, have been using .540 for some days too and no leaks.
and i use meterberry too, and have 1 hour auto-recovery enabled on it.
but i don't know if it does matter, but it works for me.
I have a 9930 so I can't use those builds. Started with .254, .362 and know on .374. They all did this.
I have memory cleaner set at every 2 min and I clear my browser and event log every day. And I reboot couple times a day.
I'm at a loss then... maybe it's an app causing the leakage?
FYI the Event Log is only a 400kb file, which is a mere drop in the ocean on newer berries. As soon as you clear the log, it doesn't take long to fill again, but it will never exceed 400kb in size.
Try this, go into your application management and look at the memory usage for the browser, does it show 50 mb or more and you could have sworn you closed the browser, right?
This will only give you that result if you have used the browser since its last reboot.
