I'm not sure if this idea has been put out there, but I think it would be really good to have a Task Manager for the storm that is similar to the one with windows. Some windows apps have mem leaks, and to figure out which one it is I just pull up TM and it'll tell me, so I end that task and bada-bing, Windows is running smoothly once again. I know nothing about programming but perhaps someone could look into it. Just an idea.

unfortunately its not possible. unless you have access to rim's api's (which no developers outside of rim do) you can not see this kind of stuff. since each app runs inside its own java virtual machine instance, it is isolated from other system info, one being the amount of memory each app is using.

rim could write an api that would let us check this, but they havent. so far the api only lets you read things like currently running app names, vendor and other very very basic stuff.
