Hey cats, I have an XLS doc that I use to keep a chart of all my favorite wines. I would love to have this easily viewable in a BB app that would allow me to add/edit/delete records, and view in an attractive format.
For instance, each record would have fields like [name, color (red/white), type (cab sauv, bordeaux, etc), region (france, spain, australia, etc.), year, price, rating, comments, date added, and optional image (of label)].
But the tabular view could show a simple view, with just the fields preferred (maybe these preferred fields could be set in the app options), and then clicking in a detail link would show all fields for that record.
Thoughts? Would this be something simple or complex for you app dev gods?
I use a program called handbase for blackberry made by ddh software. it would allow you to see your spreadsheet in a tab view on the blackberry after importing the spreadsheet into the program on your desktop.
