When I first got my Bold I remember an app that reminded you of something if you were near a location - for instance if you had a coupon to use at a store and you were near that store, a reminder would come up for you.
Well I tried it. There are no options to turn it off, or to change the proximity (spelling?) of the location. So when I drive by it on my work it pops up and says it is going to clear it, rather than ask if it should be cleared.
