Guys,I am about go with new blackberry data plan with limited data traffic.....the support team suggest to find app for this because i have to call them all the time for my current usage. I need some small app with minimal battery drain. Is there any ?How to control my bills?Advise me please!
P.S - I hope when i use wifi I wouldn't be charged with additional data usage.....

Try it and see for yourself. It states pretty accurate information for me, but that is for me. Cant say the same for you. Should be the same though.

Another free monitor app. e-office mobile - Mobile Data Alerter Both work well for me. Accuracy is good on ATT.

I like that e-office app. I have used that in the past with no issues. I like that you can customize it to your needs, with alerts at whatever usage you want.

Can't you just use the device analyzer to see how much data you've used?

I am not sure that it is accurate enough.

It is located under Options->Device->Advanced System Settings->BlackBerry Device Analyzer->Cellular Network Connection Issues->Monitor Data Usage.

If you're on 7.1 and don't see the device analyzer, just go to Options->Advanced System Settings, and do the following ALT+BBDA, that should enable it.

Unfortunately, the "Monitor Data Usage" doesn't distinguish between wifi and cellular so of limited value.
