- so i am running .113 on ATT and havent had any problems with it so far.
ive got a decent amount of apps...i noticed after i took weatherbug off that it ran smoother.
but i frequently check my memory and I just looked and i have 57mb of mem free!!!!
when i loaded the OS and had no 3rd party apps i was at about 50 on a good day, which i was completely happy with.....after putting some of my most used apps back on i was around 47 or so.
But to have almost 60!!! with more apps on there...thats crazy....gotta say I love my storm...
just thought id add haha
bring on the apps!04-03-09 11:50 AMLike 0 - I can't say honestly that it has affected app memory one way or another, but I agree with you .113 is the best I've seen. My favorite improvement is the camera.04-03-09 12:41 PMLike 0
- Like I said in my OP im running .113 on ATT.
ive got Quicklaunch, Facebook, Myspace, Where, Twitterberry, Crackberry App, Google Maps, Quickpull, App World, Shazam, and Ticketmaster.
After a failed attempt at .113 i wiped my device, went to .75...got bored and tried .113 with some help from a friend.
seemed after that my phone moved quicker and i barely do batt pulls anymore!04-03-09 12:42 PMLike 0 -
- How are you guys getting such high app memory, I am running .113 and only have 4 apps install with viigo being the only one running in the background. I also have the Storm Today Plus Hidden theme and I know that slowly drains my app memory down from 35 in the morning to about 20.5 in the early evening04-03-09 12:45 PMLike 0

- Ok i am a newbi and lucky was able to handle loading .113 how do I go about removing BB OS items i dont use, i know everyone talks about removing brickbreaker and wordmole but unfortunately I like those so they will stay04-03-09 01:21 PMLike 0
- With some of those items you can remove after install by going to Options > Advanced > Applications, find the one you don't want and select delete. You can also use Loader.exe instead of desktop manager to install the OS and remove the check boxes during the install process.04-03-09 01:23 PMLike 0
- So I dont really need BBMaps? Do I have to have that for Weatherbug or another 3rd party app to work? I tried deleting the stock wallpapers by downloading os .75 and going to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.75_P4.0.0.94\Java and removing filename net_rim_bb_medialoader_backgrounds_360x480_t.cod but that didnt remove the sample pictures. Any advice?04-03-09 01:24 PMLike 0
- I'm cruising in the 50s everyday! With battery pulls only for installation and deletion of apps.

Now I'm running .114 Java w/ .109 radio, have 3 themes totalling 2.2MB plus the 3rd parties in my signature and I start at 52MB after a battery pull.
I wonder if you have some memory fragments hanging out from previous OS's that a wipe would clean up.04-03-09 01:59 PMLike 0 - It's all dependent on what programs you have installed and how you use the phone. I start at 52 after batt pull and rarely dip below 35 after using for a day.04-03-09 02:01 PMLike 0
