I've been searching for an answer to this for ages - I couldn't find a thread anywhere that had an answer.

I am trying to make an inventory of my CDs, DVDs, and (mainly) books - something I can have on my Blackberry Style so that I don't buy things I already have - like if I'm missing one in a series but can't remember which one, I can check my phone, rather than winding up with three of the same book.

Which has happened far too often.

I see UPC scanners for Blackberry (UPC price check, lifescan, etc), but they are all for price checking, and not logging and making records.

I also found a couple inventory programs (BookBag, DoInventory), but with those you can only see records on your Blackberry, not make them.

I have a lot of books. Every time I try to make lists by hand or typing it all in into Excel and using Sheet to Go on my phone, it becomes a massive undertaking and it quickly gets out of date as I get more books or sell ones that I have.


Does anyone know of some program or app for this?



Or am I being silly and missing the obvious somewhere?
