App error 523 means a critical system process has terminated. If this continues, an OS reinstall/upgrade will be necessary.

which OS are you running? I kept getting this error with At&t OS .979

Only thrid-party apps i've installed are:

Google Maps
Yelp
Poynt

And kept getting the same issue regardless of reisntalling the OS or not.

Just upgraded to .1014 hope the issue is gone now...
