I opened my BB desktop intending to do a backup. It said there is an OS update, so I clicked it. Big Mistake.

After the BB rebooted, it said "App Error 200". I gather I'm going to have to wipe the device and start from scratch.

The thing is, I hadn't done my backup. During this process the desktop said "backing up databases...". My question, where did the desktop put that backup? It didn't put it in the place where all my other backups go.

Have I just lost all my data entered since the last successful backup?

When you press reset on that screen, the prompt should come across the screen saying that there was a backup error and it tells you the location where the backup is saved at.

I did a search from c:\ for *.ipd, and found today's .ipd file in My Documents, but there is no .cab file. In my backup directory there is always a .cab file along with the .ipd file, and the .cab file is much larger.
