So I downgraded from OS 5.0 back to the newest 4.5 hoping to be able to get rid of all the useless applications on there, and there was no option to.

I got rid of all the 3rd party and add-on apps that I don't use, but I want to get rid of apps like; Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, Search, Voice Dialing, Games & More, Google Talk, Etc.....

How do I get rid of those?

if there pushed by the carrier you cant get rid of them and usually they are just links to download the application just create a junk folder and put them in there and hide the folder

Or hide the icons without moving them around. Deletion will not keep them away. The carrier will push them again.

try using maxmem, good little program and very effective. It will get rid of VSD for you and some other needless apps. As noaim stated, yahoo, facebook, google talk etc are just carrier pushed icons that are just links to download the apps. All you have to do is hide them. Too bad you downgraded for no reason...
