Skyfire's not mobile Firefox, right? It's just supposed to be...what? I know it's out for winmo/nokia and select alpha's for some BB users. What is the major draw for this browser?

All I want's the speed of Opera Mini w/ the layout of Bolt!

Firefox's mobile browser is Fennec. (edit: Fennec is the working title, likely to be called Firefox when released.)
I tried Opera but with the pages I tried Bolt rendered them much better and more readable. I didn't really notice a difference in speeds. I'm using Bolt right now.

Anyone notice that the cursor moves oddly with opera? It doesn't seem to be able to move diagonaly, only up down left and right. Try it.

It's a mini game dave, stair stepper lite.

Edit: couldn't get the edit feature to save or go advanced in bolt. Let's see how Opera mini does.

EDIT: Sure do wish Opera Mini had a font in between small and medium.

Thanks for posting this, I had no idea this browser existed (new the BB).

It there anyway I can assign the 'B' shortcut to launch Opera Mini instead of the BB Browser ?

When I look @ my speed dial list I see:

Q Change profile to Vibrate Only

But they only seem to allow for speed dial contacts. I'd love to be able to change up shortcuts. Or at the very least, pick a default browser so links from email/sms open Opera or Bolt instead of the BB browser.

I use OEM BB Browser 99% of the time. I've seen no reason not to yet. Been able to go to every site except the redbox dvd website to look for movies. I looooove the OEM BB Browser so far! can do everything including loggin into my bank acct. I just wish i'd be able to surf the porno sites more efficiently.

The OEM browser does stuff well, but Opera blows it away in terms of speed.

trebb, what settings are you using for Opera Mini? for instance, if i go to chicagotribune.com I cannot read the frigging fonts! do I have to zoom?

However, I do love the 2, 4, 6, 8 Shortcut Function of it! Can you list the best settings for OM? maybe i'll start using it more.

Thanks babe...by checking mobile view, i'll automatically be viewing the mobile site for those websites that offer .m(mobile site), correct? thanks K!

Holy giant, I had to set the font back to medium...i had it on large. OK, I like OM better than I did before now, thanks guys!

I noticed this too, but it only seems to do it when you first open the app? If anyone knows how to just give it auto permission so you dont have to hit ok everytime I'd love to hear it!
If you dont actually close the program (hitting the back button) just let it running in the background you wont have to give permission every time.
Just hit the End (red) button when ur done browsing.
BTW, Opera running in the background doesn't use any processor power so it wont eat the battery.

This is the clunkiest browser ... moving the mouse is like pulling teeth from a barricuda!

Yes, the pages load better ONCE they load, but as for speed? It needs to take some.
