Hey does anyone know of a good app out on the market that helps restore the memory on our phones instead of rebooting the phone?

Ive seen some talking about Logmaid but said it was a waste of space?

    Thanks,
    Johnny

There are a few in the store, if you try any, let us know which you found best. I was thinking of this one:

Aerize Optimizer 2008 - Memory booster|cleaner utility - Personal Productivity BlackBerry Software - Crackberry Store

I'm not familiar with logmaid. The problem with Memory Manager apps in general is that they have to run in the memory they are trying to manage. That memory is also being managed by the operating system. You can't turn off the OS management functions, and sometimes the OS functions conflict with the 3rd party memory management apps. Rebooting your device is a good way to recover lost memory.

Here is the link to the dev phrehnck's site. You can read about the logMaid and the OTA is there too.

Alt-Esc will bring up the list of programs running on your BlackBerry. Messenger, Messages, Browser, Call Log and Home Screen are always running and cannot be closed. Anything else you can close by selecting it from the list of icons and using the Menu / Exit command. Other than rebooting, there's not a method to exit programs other than using the program itself.

Hold down the <menu> key for a few seconds and it will bring up the active programs.

Thanks for everyones opinion. Ill probably try LogMaid and see how it is but as you stated Jeff it is also using the memory as well so its kind of a give and take so will see. Cant go wrong its free so i can always delete it if I dont see any improvements.
